This evening marked the Area 93 Humorous Speech Contest andTable Topics Contest.

Deanna represented Timber Talkers in the speech contest and Kate represented Timber Talkers in the table topics contest.

Both did an outstanding job.  Deanna changed her speech,  focusing it on dining with the inlaws.  She clearly spent a lot of time and energy on reworking her speech.  Kate, as usual, was very poised and articulate answering the question: "If you could travel back in time to when you were 10, what advice would you give yourself?"

All of the participants did a great job.  It is quite difficult to separate each of the speakers to determine a winner.  Deanna was pipped at the post, but Kate won the Table Topics contest and moves on to the Division contest on the 23rd October.
