"Joining Toastmasters has been one of the most rewarding and valuable decisions I have ever made.  Three years ago I found myself in a job where I needed to give presentations to large groups of people, in the past I had done well with one-on-one presentations, but speaking in front of a large group was one of my worst fears.  I was terrified! 

Toastmasters has allowed me to practise public speaking in a warm, friendly and fun environment.  I receive constructive feedback after each speech which allows me to make corrections and improve.  When I have an important presentation, I give the speech to my Toastmasters group first.  A practise run gives me the confidence I need to perform well.  I have been with Timber Talkers Toastmasters for 3 years, it has been valuable professionally, but better yet I have met some wonderful people who have become dear friends.  I love Toastmasters!"
